Mark Spurgeon

Mark grew up in Hobe Sound, Florida, and now calls Palm City home. With 14 years on the water and a 100-Ton Master Captain's license under his belt for the past 7 years, boating isn't just his job, it's been his life.

Mark's path into yacht sales came straight from the tournament sportfishing world. Years spent competing in some of the industry's biggest events, including the Big Rock, White Marlin Open, MA 500, Los Sueños Triple Crown, BVCC Cup, Walker's Cup Invitational, Custom Shootout, OBX, and the CBC, gave him a firsthand understanding of what serious anglers and boat owners actually need. His start in brokerage came the way the best stories often do: a client he'd built a real relationship with asked Mark to help sell his boat. That one favor turned into a career.

Since becoming a broker in February 2026, Mark has focused his expertise on sportfishing boats, center consoles, and, more recently, motor yachts (sailboats and commercial vessels aren't his thing, and he's upfront about that).

What sets Mark apart is simple: he's not chasing a quick sale, he's building long-term relationships. To him, success looks like clients who know he always had their back. He puts faith and integrity above everything else, refuses to sugarcoat anything, and approaches every deal, and every relationship, with the same level of honesty.

When he's not on the water, you'll find Mark hunting, traveling, staying active, or diving into whatever new topic has caught his interest.
