Designed by Glenn Henderson and the Hunter design team, the Hunter 356 brings together responsive sailing, practical sail handling, and generous cruising accommodations. Her 5' shoal draft is well suited to exploring the Chesapeake, while two private cabins and a spacious cockpit make her an appealing layout for couples and families.

The distinctive B&R rig pairs a powerful mainsail with a manageable headsail, and the stainless steel cockpit arch carries the mainsheet traveler overhead. A walk-through transom makes access to the included 9' Bombard inflatable convenient.

This boat benefits from a new mainsail in 2024, new dodger, Bimini and connector in 2026, and bottom paint in 2025. Her Yanmar diesel has been maintained by AR Diesel and has received a new exhaust elbow. Both mast-support struts were replaced within the past three years, and numerous service records are available aboard.
