“Eliora”
Meet “Eliora,” a 1990 Privilege 39 sailing catamaran offered at $139,900 USD and thoughtfully prepared for extended cruising, comfortable living aboard, and ambitious offshore passages. Built in France by Jeantot Marine to an Eric LeFevre design, this proven 38-foot catamaran combines a spacious 21-foot beam, shallow 3.5-foot draft, and practical long-keel configuration—an appealing platform for exploring coastlines, island anchorages, and bluewater routes. Recently cruised along the U.S. East Coast and throughout the Bahamas, Eliora is currently in North Carolina and ready for her next chapter.
Her extensive inventory reflects meaningful recent investment, including standing and running rigging replaced in 2022, a full-batten mainsail from 2023, new deck-hatch plexiglass in 2024, updated propellers, shafts, and cutlass bearings, and twin Yanmar 3GM-30F diesels rebuilt in 2019 and serviced in September 2026. Cruising independence is supported by three 175-watt solar panels, a 500-watt wind generator, a portable gas generator, substantial stainless-steel fuel and water tankage, and a never-installed Spectra Catalina 150 watermaker system.
Raymarine navigation instruments, AIS, autopilot, EPIRB, a six-person life raft, Starlink, air conditioning, a recently updated galley, and a Highfield RIB with a 15 hp Yamaha outboard round out a remarkably capable package.
